2019 — Adventure Documentation
BAEKDUDAEGAN FKT
In August 2019, a small team set out to traverse South Korea's Baekdudaegan mountain spine in a continuous, long-distance endurance effort.
Over nearly two weeks, the journey unfolded across remote ridgelines, mountain passes, changing weather, and the physical demands of sustained movement.
My primary role throughout the project was expedition photography, documenting the athletes, the landscape, and the unfolding journey.
As the expedition progressed, I also contributed to route planning, navigation, and field coordination when circumstances required additional support.
The resulting photographs form a documentary record of an extended journey, shaped as much by the terrain and the people moving through it as by the pursuit of a record.

2019 BAEKDUDAEGAN FKT
Beyond the distance and the recorded time, this project remains a documentation of people moving through a demanding landscape.
The photographs follow the rhythm of the journey — moments of effort and uncertainty, periods of rest, and the gradual passage through changing terrain.
Rather than presenting the expedition solely through its final result, this series reflects what it meant to remain present throughout the process, observing and recording the experience as it unfolded.
